An incredible cycle tour in Siem Reap to highlight the main temples of Angkor (Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm) and the rural countryside as much as take a boat ride to visit the floating village in Tonle Sap Lake.

Day 1: Angkor Temples Cycling

We start to ride our bikes from the hotel at about 7:00 am to Angkor Wat Temple and take about 1 hour 30 minutes to visit the biggest religious building in the world, Angkor Wat. A coffee break will be provided at the local café before we continue to ride our bikes to visit Bayon Temple in Angkor Thom City. Next, ride to the Preah Khan temple and enjoy the homemade lunch at the local house in Angkor Thom Village. After lunch, we ride along the Grand Circle to get to Preah Dak village, Srah Srang, and stop to visit Ta Prohm, the jungle temple before riding back to your hotel in Siem Reap.
At 6:30 pm, our guide and tuk-tuk driver pick you up for dinner at the local restaurant

Day 2: Kampong Phluk Village Cycling

Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30 am, get ready and start to ride our bikes from the hotel to Kampong Phluk Village, one of the largest settlements on the Tonle Sap Lake. Living on water is an art the Khmer people have mastered over the course of time. Board a local boat and visit a floating house where a catered lunch is set up for you. Observe the local customs and talk with your hosts about the differences they face living on the water. Ride the boat back to the pier and cycle back to Siem Reap

This is the way to experience Cambodia! Merry Travel/ Sam is an excellent tour guide and the tour is perfectly curated . You get to experience Cambodia authentically and at the ground level- the awesome ancient temples, the horrifying but important political history and the resilient, friendly people and their present day life/livelihoods. Biking Cambodia This is the 7th time I have done a tour with Sam. I have taken 5 groups of students and 2 groups of adults. In addition, I have recommended at least 3 other friends to work with him. If you want professionalism and fairness, Sam is the person for you. Merry Travel is an outstanding business and I cannot applaud it enough. We did 3 days of cycling in Angkor Wat, then went to Phnom Penh and then Kampot. Sam worked out all the transfers and we had excellent guides, including Sam himself. He knows what it takes to make the customer happy and he is very even-keeled in his approach.

Best Bike Tour ever Best bike tour ever. Big thanks to my tour guide Chea.Jungle was an adventure due to Covid and regrowth as no traffic has been through there for a while. Tour guide was amazing Picked up a couple of flat tyres over the 8 days but the guide had us back on the road in minutes.Best experience. Highly recommended

Twelve days driving around Cambodia with Merry Travel Asia . Just returned from twelve days driving around Cambodia with Merry Travel Asia . We stayed in Siem Reap , Kratie, Phnom Penh and Battambang .
