The tour starts at the Border of Vietnam to Cambodia side is called Prek Chak in Kep and ends in Phnom Penh.
If you visit the Mekong Delta in Vietnam and want to travel to Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia, then the Ha Tien border is the best for you, it is an international border, and able to get a visa on arrival.

Day 1: Hatien/Prek Chak (Vietnam/Cambodia) border – Kep – Kampot

We suggest you get to the Cambodian border between 10 am to 11 am. That border in Vietnam is called Ha Tien, and the Cambodian side is called Prek Chak. Meets our guide, he/she will assist you to get the visa upon arrival (visa fee of US$ 30 on your own, please bring cash), immigration stamp, and cross the border smoothly. It will take us about 20-30 minutes to cross the Cambodian border, we drive the have lunch in the local restaurant in Kep City (only 25km from the border).
After lunch, we continue to drive to Kampot, and on the way, we will stop to visit the Kampot pepper plantation as much as the salt field.
We arrive in Kampot around 4.30, check-in at the hotel, and are free at leisure. Dinner at the lodge where we staying.

Day 2: Kampot – Ta Keo – Phnom Penh

Early morning at about 6.30 am, visit the Kampot Market which is the biggest market in southern Cambodia. The guide will walk you through the main market the people selling cloth, shoes, fish, meats, vegetables, and so on… then we get to the food hall where you can taste all the different local snacks, foods, and fruits as your breakfast. One cup of coffee before we get back to the lodge for check-out, then we drive to Phnom Penh the journey will take us 4 hours, plus a few hours of visiting some sites on the way.
First stop, visit the Phnom Chhgok which is the ancient cave on the top of Natural Mountain. Phnom Chhngok is a small mountain featuring a Buddhist temple on one side and on its western side a cave featuring an ancient temple dating to the 5th century Funan Era. Continue to drive to have lunch in Ta Keo City, and ride the speed boat to Phnom Da. The boat ride which took us 50 minutes in a fast boat each way across flooded areas and an ancient canal is absolutely enjoyable. Something off the beaten tourist track. You get a glimpse of the real, rural Cambodia. On arrival, we will visit the very old museum in Angkor Borie and continue to visit Phnom Da temples. Phnom Da is the name of the mount to the south of the town of Angkor Borei. Currently, two temples still remain standing on this mount and several caves have been found around its base. The principal temple, now known as Phnom Da temple, was built in the 11th century on foundations remaining from the Funan period.
Ride the boat back to Ta Keo and proceed to Phnom Penh – Arrive in Phnom Penh at around 5 pm – Drop off and end of service – Dinner and accommodation are not included
