This tour is ideal for travelers finishing their journey in southeastern Thailand who wish to enter Cambodia via land border, specifically through the Ban Pakkad border in Thailand and the Prum border in Cambodia. It offers the convenience of obtaining a visa on arrival and includes an overnight stay in Battambang, allowing you to explore this charming city before heading to Siem Reap to visit the majestic Angkor Wat.

Day 1: Ban Pakad (Thailand)/ Prum (Cambodia) border – Battambang

We suggest arriving at the Ban Pakkad border in Thailand around 9:00 AM. After crossing into Cambodia at the Prum border, our guide will meet you to assist with visa application and all immigration procedures. Then, we’ll transfer you to Battambang with a stop for lunch along the way, and visit Phmom Sampov Mountain to enjoy stunning views and explore the historic site. We’ll also stop at a family wine producer to sample local wines before reaching the hotel for check-in. In the late afternoon, experience the ancient house and ride the famous Bamboo Train, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Battambang – Siem Reap

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive along the Stueng Sangke River to observe local villagers engaged in their daily activities, including making rice paper, banana cake, traditional cakes, rice whisky, and fish paste. Then, we’ll continue to Siem Reap, stopping en route for lunch. Afterward, visit the Angkor Silk Farm to see how silk is produced using traditional methods. We will arrive at Siem Reap city center around 4:30 PM, where the tour concludes.
