Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
Siem Reap is a sleepy backwater serving as a gateway to the ancient capital of Angkor. It is hard to believe that at its peak in the 12th century, this was one of the most advanced civilizations in the world and home to more than 1 million inhabitants.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be met by your local guide and then transferred to your hotel for check-in (early check-in is not included and it is subject to the hotel’s availabilities). Free at leisure
At about 04.00 PM – Our guide and driver pick you up from the hotel in Siem Reap and drive down to the south where the Tonle Sap Lake is, 13km. Witnessing the dawn break over the largest lake in Southeast Asia, drive towards the Tonle Sap Lake, Chong Kneas floating village where your boat awaits you for a trip onto Tonle Sap Lake. Cruise down through the floating village, observing the local way of life, fish trading, and students rowing the boat from school. Admire the sunset at a secluded spot on the lake and take in the peace and scenery. As the sun starts to go down, indulge with a glass of champagne along with the exclusive unique style canapé and watch the red and orange hues dance across the water ripples creating a wonderful horizon. Cruise back to the pier, and a private vehicle awaits you to bring you back to your hotel in Siem Reap. Welcome dinner at Malis Restaurant

Angkor Golf Resort provides all levels of golfers with a challenging and fair test of golf. The par 72, 7279-yard championship course has seashore paspalum grass throughout the course allowing for an exceptional playing surface and enjoyable round. Practice facilities include a 300 yards driving range, with target greens and practice putting green and chipping area.
Upon arrival, our guide will assist you with the registration and get things ready, enjoy your 18 holes golf. Lunch on your own and after the golf, you are transferred back to the hotel for relaxation
At about 5.30 pm, your guide will meet you again this evening to explore Siem Reap night by tuk-tuk to experience Cambodia’s nightlife in full, from the local people’s customs to the activities geared toward tourists. The first stop at a small bar for a cocktail or soft drink or beer and get a tour briefing from the tour guide. Then we walk through the food markets on Road 60 meters and enjoy the Khmer delicious dinner at Chanrey Tree Restaurant. Next, we visit night markets and one beer or soft drink in a nice bar at Pub Street before riding back to the hotel.

Day 3: Angkor Temple Highlights
Breakfast at the hotel.
To avoid the crowds, at 7.00 am our guide and driver pick you up from the hotel and visit Angkor Wat Temple at level 1, level 2, and level 3, an architectural marvel, one of the world’s most impressive ruins to understand in depth Khmer Culture and Civilization. The temple has fine carvings of Apsaras in stone made during the Angkor period. Continue to visit the Ta Prohm temple of “Tomb Raider” fame, the temple that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. Undisturbed by crowds of tourists you can better appreciate the interplay of man and nature at this magical site.
Return to the hotel for a lunch break (lunch on your own)
Afternoon, explore the mysterious Royal city of Angkor Thom. Its 50-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance, it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic, silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Enter at the South Gate before uniquely walking along the 8m high wall through the forest to the less touristy Death Gate. Passing behind the Terraces of Elephants and Leper King walk through the shaded parkland to Phimeanakas and Baphuon temples, learning about the trees and fruits used locally.
Return to the hotel and the dinner on your own.

From 2007-2010, Phokeethra Country Club hosted the world’s first annual Cambodian Open – A week-long tournament that brings top Asian and international professional golfers to Cambodia. This prestigious golfing event highlights the club’s undisputed position as Cambodia’s Premier Golf Course and one of the region’s top golfing facilities. Challenge your 18 holes and lunch on your own at the house club, after golfing you are transferred back to the hotel in Siem Reap for relaxation.
Late afternoon, our guide and driver pick you up again to visit Wat Damnak to get a blessing ceremony from the Buddhist Monk. Located in the heart of Siem Reap town, Wat Damnak is one of the most beautiful pagodas in town with French colonial architecture reflecting its history and a large garden filled with statues. Bring candles and incense sticks to the pagoda and participate in a private good luck blessing ceremony, performed by local monks that reside at the temple. Sit on the mat while the monks chant blessings and sprinkle holy water on you – a traditional way that is believed to pass on the good luck of the gods. Afterward, a sacred thread will be tied around your wrist. This will protect you from any evil spirits or accidents. Before you continue on your journey, you will receive a small keepsake from the monks to remind you of this special moment.
Continue to visit Artisans d’Angkor which focuses on training unschooled rural youth in traditional handicraft skills. Here you can discover traditional Cambodian handicraft skills and observe the artisans at work. Ancient techniques are still practiced here such as wood and stone carving, lacquering, gilding, and silk painting. A guided tour will provide you with more insight into this organization and you may direct any questions to one of the artisans through your guide. Meet one of the directors from Artisans d’Angkor who will explain the overall operations and their goals for the future. You will also learn more about the artisans’ backgrounds and how this training has helped them to get a head start in life. Bid farewell to the artisans and drive to Surga Palm for dinner before we get back to the hotel.

They were initially constructed in 1866 by the French. The Royal Palace is home to the current King Sihamoni. The neighboring Silver Pagoda stands out in its own distinctive way. The floor consists of 5,329 solid silver tiles to which the building owes its name. And then continue to visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which was a high school prior to 1975, an interrogation prison known as S-21 during the Khmer Rouge era, and today as a genocide museum. Both the East and West Courses provide a spectacular setting around famous cultural expressions that include scale models of Khmer historical architectural sites, such as Angkor Wat, Preah Vihear, Terrace of the Elephants, and Bayon. Let’s challenge your 18 holes of golfing, and lunch at the clubhouse on your own. After the golf, you are transferred back to the hotel for relaxation.
Late afternoon, our guide picks up again to visit Wat Phnom, which is the center of Phnom Penh that gives the city its name. At 27 meters above sea level, it is the highest point in the area, and as a town gradually grew up around it, the settlement became known as Phnom Penh, the hill of Penh. It is the zero point of the city. Then continue to embark on the Mekong Boat to ride to enjoy the dinner cruise.
Phnom Penh is situated between two rivers, the Mekong River and the Tonle Sap River. At night when the sunlight fades and the neon lights appear along the river banks, a small cruise boat will take you out onto the river to take in the city from a different perspective. Witness the sunset over the Royal Palace and the Mekong River while enjoying a cocktail. A catered dinner from one of Phnom Penh’s well-established restaurants is served shortly after sundown. Enjoy a leisurely cruise while enjoying dinner and taking in the sights along the river bank including many local Cambodian families and friends socializing.
