Day 1: Siem Reap – Phnom Kulen

Your day begins with a 1:00 PM pickup in Siem Reap and a scenic drive of about an hour to Phnom Kulen, a sacred mountain renowned for its lush rainforest, stunning waterfalls, and rich spiritual history. Starting with a hike up the hill, you’ll visit Wat Preah Ang Chob, famous for blessings and its natural spring where locals pray and collect holy water.

As you trek through vibrant flora and rugged terrain, you’ll reach the Holy River, home to ancient carved 1000 lingas etched into the riverbed—an awe-inspiring sight symbolizing Hindu heritage. The journey continues to the Reclining Buddha carved into a massive rock with panoramic mountain views, and then to a breathtaking waterfall cascading through the jungle—perfect for an invigorating swim amid pristine nature. Venturing deeper into dense rainforest, you’ll explore ancient caves and mystic rock formations that tell stories of early human life, culminating in a camping experience in the wild with dinner and an overnight stay in tents, offering adventure lovers an unforgettable immersion into the natural and spiritual wonders of Phnom Kulen.

Day 2: Phnom Kulen – Peoung Kamnu – Siem Reap

After breakfast at the campsite, we will trek to Wat Preah Kras, a sacred monastery perched atop Kulen Mountain Range, where many locals come for short meditation sessions lasting three or seven days. We then continue to Bat Cave, a highly revered site once inhabited by hermits dedicated to serious meditation. Our journey proceeds to Srah Damrey, an ancient holy site of Phnom Kulen, featuring beautifully carved rocks depicting elephants, tigers, lions, and frogs—some of the largest carvings of their kind.

The trek then takes us through dense jungle to explore hidden ancient temples like Thmor Dap and Poeng Tbal. Afterward, we’ll enjoy lunch at Anglong Thom Village before trekking further to Sangke Leak Village, Peung Preah and Peung Kom Nuo, where we’ll meet our driver again. From there, we’ll transfer back to Siem Reap, with the tour concluding around 6:30 PM at Siem Reap city center.
