Cambodia Cardamom Off-Road Motorcycle

Day 1: Siem Reap – Battambang

At 8:00 AM, we’ll meet at our motorcycle shop for a safety briefing and to sign a release form, along with a deposit of USD 500 per rider for motorcycle damages. Afterward, we’ll leave the city and head west toward the Thailand border, choosing between tarmac, dirt roads, and trails as we ride past tranquil lakes and rivers. We’ll pause for lunch by a large reservoir and then continue on to the charming French colonial town of Battambang. Adventurous riders will have the chance to try grilled rats at a roadside BBQ—reportedly tasting just like chicken! Upon arrival, we’ll check in and you’ll have free time to relax; dinner will be on your own account, with our guide recommending one of the best local restaurants in town.

Day 2: Battambang – Samlout – Pramouy

After a brief ride out of Battambang, we’ll reach Phnom Sampov: a small mountain steeped in history as the site of the Khmer Rouge’s major atrocities. Here, we’ll visit the chilling killing caves and see the guns used by the Vietnamese to reclaim the mountain from the Khmer Rouge. The day ahead offers some exciting riding options: navigate the trails of “Sticky Land,” known for its muddy terrain during the wet season, tackle challenging rocky paths, or choose a winding dirt road that takes you over 50 small bridges. Upon arriving at the Pramouy, you’ll check in at the guesthouse, and dinner will be on your own, with our guide providing recommendations for good dining options nearby.

Day 3: Pramouy – Koh Kong

In the morning, we’ll embark on a thrilling dirt road that winds through steep hills, offering breathtaking views of the landscape below. Riders can choose between technically challenging routes through dense jungle or stick to Chinese-built mountainous roads, stopping to visit a couple of impressive waterfalls along the way. Our destination for the night is Koh Kong, a charming riverside town near the Thailand border. Upon arrival at the hotel, we’ll check in, and later in the afternoon, our guide will arrange a tuk-tuk ride to the Peam Kralaop Wild Sanctuary, where you’ll enjoy a boat ride through the largest mangrove forest in Southeast Asia before returning to the hotel. Dinner will be at your leisure, with our guide recommending one of the best restaurants in town for a delightful dining experience.

Day 4: Koh Kong – Boat Ride Excursion

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we take a tuk-tuk ride to the boat pier, where we’ll board a private boat for a scenic journey to Koh Kong Krao, a picturesque island off the coast of Koh Kong Province known for its pristine beaches and tranquil environment. The ride will last just over an hour, and onboard, your guide has arranged snacks and drinks, so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Upon arrival at Koh Kong Krao Beach, you’ll have the chance to swim, sunbathe, and even try your hand at fishing. A picnic lunch with cold drinks will be set up for you on the beach. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to our hotel in the city, where you’ll have free time to unwind and explore at your leisure.

Day 5: Koh Kong – Chi Phat

Today’s adventure can be tailored to your preference—choose between an easy or a challenging ride! The harder option will take you on a thrilling journey up steep, rocky hills, navigating bridges, river crossings, and exhilarating single-track trails. For a more relaxed experience, the easier route follows smoother roads winding through the mountains, with a stop at the stunning Tatai Waterfall along the way. Upon arrival at the Chi Phat community center, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our hosts, who will escort you to check in at one of the local homestays and provide refreshing drinks. In the late afternoon, unwind with a slow boat ride along the Chi Phat River, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset while sipping on a local beer or soft drink.

Day 6: Chi Phat – Kirirom

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an exhilarating ride filled with deep sandy single tracks, rocky climbs, rutted descents, and thrilling river crossings. You’ll arrive in Srae Ambel town just in time for lunch before continuing your adventure through the stunning Kirirom Mountain Ranges. Ride amidst towering pine trees and lush jungle as you make your way to the resort where you’ll spend the night, allowing you to relax and unwind after an action-packed day!

Day 7: Kirirom – Phnom Penh

Today’s ride will take you along a mix of red-graded dirt roads and sandy single tracks that weave through the picturesque countryside en route to Phnom Penh. We’ll pause for lunch along the way before arriving at our final destination. Once we reach Phnom Penh, we’ll conclude the tour with a drop-off, allowing you to reflect on the incredible journey you’ve just experienced!
