Day 1: Phnom Penh – Tang Bompong Village – Khnong Krapeu Mountain

Khnong Pshar is the newly discovered trekking destination in Cambodia during the pandemic time and also provides the best view from the top of this hill, compared to other peaks. Located in Cardamom Mountain Range in Kampong Speu and Koh Rong Province, a 2-hour drive from Phnom Penh. Khnong for mountain means the top of the mountain range, and Phsar means the market, so Khnong Phsar means The Market on the Top of the Mountain Range.

06.00 am, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh and drive to Kampong Speu city town where to stop for breakfast and coffee. Then we continue to drive to Putang Village which is the trekking point, on arrival we get to register and the Cardamom environment office, get ready and start trekking 4km through the local farms and rice paddies before we reach the food of Khnong Krapeu Mountain. Then 8km of trekking up to the top of the hill takes us about 5 hours including the lunch break, and stopping for rest and learning the jungle plants/trees. We reach the top at about 3 pm, take some time to view around, and coffee break. Then we continue to trek another 3km to Khmer Krahom Waterfall where is our campsite. On arrival, you enjoy swimming in this waterfall and our team will set up a campsite and make dinner for you

Day 2: Khnong Krapeu Mountain – Khnong Phsar Mountain

Breakfast at the campsite and start trekking on the top of the Cardamom Mountain range from Khnong Krapeu to Khnon Phsar, the scenery is so beautiful, and pass through the nice grass fields, pine trees, jungle, and streams. After 12km of trekking, we will reach the Khnong Sampao Mountain area which is our campsite for today. Take a little rest and enjoy lunch, until 3 pm we continue to trek up to the top of Khnong Phsar Mountain which is 2 km further from our campsite. Enjoy the nicest view from the peak, take a lot of pictures, and view the sunset before we trek back to the campsite.

Day 3: Khnong Phsar Mountain – Tang Bompong Village – Phnom Penh

Early morning at 5.30 am we trek up to the top of Phnom Sampao to view the sunrise or just stay late in your hammock until 7 am we have breakfast and a cup of coffee. Get things ready and trek down the hill to Tang Pombang Village, we will arrive at the village at 11.30 and have lunch with the local community before we drive back to Phnom Penh. Stop on the way to visit the Hot Spring “local people called Te Teuk Pus), and take some time to kill the pain from our feed by just soaking your feet in warm water (natural hot spring, 50-75 degrees c for 20-30 minutes. And then, continue to drive to Phnom Penh. We will arrive at Phnom Penh at about 5 pm, drop off, and end of services.
