Stung Treng Tours

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Irrawaddy Dolphins – Stung Treng

Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh and drive to Stung Treng, passing through Chamka Leur and Stung Trong in Kampong Cham Province. Along the way, we’ll make several stops to visit local farms and explore village activities. Afterward, you’ll have lunch in Kratie. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Kampi, renowned for its Irrawaddy dolphins — a rare and endangered freshwater species. Kampi is one of the few places where these elusive dolphins can be observed up close in the wild, offering a unique opportunity to see them in their natural habitat. After the dolphin visit, we’ll continue to Stung Treng for an overnight stay. Dinner will be at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Stung Treng Tours

Early in the morning, we will drive to a local restaurant in Kratie city for breakfast and visit the lively local market, where many fresh fish, meat, and vegetables are sold. Afterwards, we will embark on a local boat to ride upstream, enjoy kayaking, and swim in the Koh Han area. Please bring a swimsuit, as the Mekong River offers a wonderful swimming experience. A picnic lunch will be provided on an island in the Mekong River. After lunch, we will return to the resort for relaxation. Dinner is at your leisure

Day 3: Stung Treng – Mekong Waterfall at Laos Border – Koh Ker Temples – Siem Reap

Start your day with breakfast on the island. Then head to Sopheak Mitt Waterfall, located at the Laos border along the Mekong River. Continue to Preah Vihear City for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, visit the UNESCO World Heritage temples of Koh Ker, known for their outstanding Khmer architecture and mysterious carvings, and drive to Sraem for overnight. Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 4: Sraem – Preah Vihear Temple – Ta Mok’s House – Siem Reap

Early morning departure to visit Preah Vihear Temple. En route, stop at Preah Vihear Museum to learn about its history and the Khmer kings who built it. Proceed to the border crossing at Phnom Daranrek via a 4WD ride to visit Preah Vihear Temple on the hilltop at the Thailand border. Afterwards, visit Ta Mok House in Anlong Veng and enjoy lunch on the way back to Siem Reap. Arrive in Siem Reap around 5 PM, concluding your tour.
