Day 1: Siem Reap – Phnom Kulen – Koh Ker

Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap and take you to explore Phnom Kulen, the first capital of the Khmer Empire in the 9th century, renowned for its waterfalls and ancient carvings. After an authentic local lunch, continue to Koh Ker, an impressive jungle-covered ruins site that was once the capital of the Khmer Empire, located along the route from Angkor Wat. In the evening, enjoy dinner and camping overnight at these mysterious lost temples.

Day 2: Koh Ker – Beng Mealea – Siem Reap

Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast before heading to Beng Mealea Temple, one of the most breathtaking and mysterious temples in Cambodia. Built in the 12th century, it offers a stunning, jungle-covered ruin with sprawling corridors, massive stones, and hidden chambers—often called a “hidden gem” of Angkorian architecture. Continuing a bit further, visit the remote Prasat Ta Ein and an ancient bridge (spean ta oung), sites away from the crowds and full of authentic charm. After an authentic local lunch, we’ll drive back to Siem Reap, arriving around 3:30 pm to conclude the tour at the city center.
