Day 1: Phnom Penh – Arrival

Welcome to Phnom Penh, the Capital City. Phnom Penh is the capital and most populous city in Cambodia. Phnom Penh has been the national capital since the French colonization of Cambodia and has grown to become the nation’s economic, industrial, and cultural center.

Upon arrival inside the arrival terminal of Phnom Penh International Airport, look for our tour guide at the arrival counter holding a signboard with your name on it. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in (early check-in is not included and depends on the hotel’s availability). Free at leisure.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City Tour – Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. We will start our visit with the Royal Palace, the official residence of the King of Cambodia, renowned for its stunning architecture and beautiful grounds. Next is the Silver Pagoda, located within the royal complex, famous for its jewel-encrusted Buddha statues and silver tiled floors. We will then proceed to the National Museum, which houses an extensive collection of Khmer art and artifacts. Afterward, visit the Independence Monument, a symbol of Cambodia’s independence from France. Continue to Wat Phnom, a historic hilltop temple offering panoramic views of the city. Then, explore Wat Ounalom, an important religious site and home to the head of Cambodian Buddhism. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. If time permits, you may visit the Central Market, known for its art deco architecture and vibrant stalls, or the Russian Market, popular for souvenirs, clothing, and local products. Finally, transfer to the airport for your departure.
