The Cambodia Vulture Restaurant Tour in Northern Cambodia offers a two-day chance to see the critically endangered Red-headed, White-rumped, and Slender-billed vultures feeding on a cow carcass from a special hide. Day 1: From Siem Reap to Boeng Toal Vulture Restaurant

Starting at 9:00 AM, you’ll be transferred from your hotel for a scenic five-hour drive north to Boeng Toal Vulture Restaurant, with stops along the way for lunch in Preah Vihear and additional birding opportunities. Arriving around 3:00 PM, be prepared for a journey into remote areas with bumpy roads as you meet local communities and settle into your accommodation in safari tents. The evening includes dinner, and you may choose to join some night birding to spot owls.

Day 2: From Boeng Toal Vulture Restaurant back to Siem Reap

At 4:30 AM, you’ll rise early to observe the vulture feeding at the ‘Vulture Restaurant,’ where up to fifty critically endangered vultures—White-rumped, Slender-billed, and Red-headed—gather to feed on a provided carcass, supporting conservation efforts. A breakfast will be served on-site. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, with an optional visit to Koh Ker Temple in Preah Vihear. In the late afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to Siem Reap and dropped off at your hotel.
